I had a bar on top and a tabbed bar on the bottom of my work screen. I packaged my work theme to bring home the layouts and loaded the work theme. The top autohiding dock imported the doclets fine, but my tabbed bar at bottom disappeared. When I tried to load my old home theme it still is missing. What did I do wrong? Can I get back my tabbed dock from the bottom? I even tried replacing the full objectdock directory but that still didn't work. Can I import both docklets?

Have you tried packaging just one dock at a time?

but my tabbed bar at the bottom disappeared

Do you mean that the tabbed bar was there initially, but then disappeared? Was this on your home or work computer?

Can I import both docklets?

What specifically do you mean by this? Docklets are special objects that can be placed on your dock, but I'm not sure which docklets you're referring to.

Mike,
I didn't know you could package docks separately. For clarification: I call both items docks - the one at top is the cool looking zooming icon (or wagging, shaking icon) bar. The one at the bottom which is the one that doesn't transfer from my work pc to my home pc is the tabbed dock with multiple tabs on top. The option to Package Dock Theme give me four choices.
1. Package the entire dock and all of its settings
2. Package selected dock items
3. Package selected additional backgrounds
4. Package selected custom program icons.
I don't see where to package just the tabbed bottom dock. Would I be able to sync my objectdock if I copied my folders from work and replaced those at home in the stardock directory? I noticed that I can load an older theme (created on the same pc) and it replaces both docks. It is just when I try to load a theme packaged from work is where I lose the tabbed dock.
